3 things to remember before booking your Christmas appointment this year ❤️

1. Lash Lift Timings - please ensure at least 10 weeks (sometimes 12) between lash lifts, if you are unsure of your lashes being ready for another lift or not, just drop me a message with a pic, or pop by the salon 😘
Your lash health is always my no.1 priority ❤️✨

2. Brow Lamination timings - please ensure at least 8 weeks between lamination, again, if you are unsure of your brows being ready for another lamination or not, just drop me a message with a pic, or pop by the salon ❤️

3. Cancellation policy - I will always, ALWAYS try and squeeze you in where ever I can. I absolutely understand that things happen, kids get sick, cars break down etc… I get it! I have said this before, I am genuinely SO lucky that I have such an amazing client base, so I rarely have to harp on about cancellation policy’s ❤️
However, please just be mindful and have a read over the cancellation policy before agreeing to an appointment ✨

post today, to help spread awareness and shine a little light on the treatments that can support those going through the incredibly tough journey that is chemo.

I had the pleasure of creating these brows for Gráinne, who is starting her treatment next week. We chose a soft, natural Powder Brow, something that will make her mornings a little easier and help her feel like herself during this time. Grainne loves having her brows done, and that is something that she should continue to be able to do 💞

Sadly, cancer is something that touches all of us in one way or another, either through a loved one, a friend, or personally. It’s something that has affected me directly, after loosing my Dad 4 years ago - so able to do this for someone so brave and kind meant a lot to me 🤍

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is being able to help people feel confident and beautiful, even in the hardest chapters of their lives. Treatments like Powder Brows can make such a difference, not just in appearance but in how someone feels each day.

Love a good before & after ⏩️

Brows are sitting a little warm straight after the treatment - this is completely normal 🤍 Over the next few weeks they’ll soften and cool down beautifully, healing into a more ashy and natural tone ✨

Here is a little breakdown of powder brow healing time… just so you know for Christmas 🤪

Your first session creates the base shape and colour, followed by a top-up 4–6 weeks later to perfect the healed result. Brows initially appear darker and warmer, then gradually soften as they heal — usually taking around 10–14 days for surface healing and up to 6 weeks for the colour to fully settle into its final shade 🤍

Myself, @browbabe___ , @browroombykirstie and @emstudiobelfast laughed from the minute we met to the minute we left each other 🤣❤️

Always love going to events like this as it’s such a good reminder that so many of us are in the same boat. Working for yourself, by yourself, day in and day out can be lonely, and with that comes self doubt and the feeling like you aren’t big & good enough. Yesterday’s event was exactly what I needed to remind myself that I’m actually not doing too bad 🤣

3 things I took away from the event -

- Sometimes you need to stop chasing the “next big thing” and take a minute to reflect on how far you’ve already come.

- I’m guilty of always running a million miles an hour, looking for the next thing to do, and giving myself a hard time when I don’t feel like I’m progressing fast enough and doing a hundred different things at once.

- True happiness doesn’t come from how much you achieve at work, it comes from yourself, and from being content in the “now.”

I always recommend waiting at least 10 weeks (sometimes even 12 🙃) between lifts. Your lash health will always be my number one priority, and giving them that recovery time is so important for keeping them strong and healthy.

If you’re planning a lash lift for Christmas, this next week or two will be the cut off time for you to be able to get one now and for Christmas. This will give your lashes plenty of time to settle before🎅🏼x

I really don’t want to have to turn people away and let them down at Christmas time because their lashes aren’t ready, so please always ensure you have left long enough and that your lashes have come back to themselves before booking in your Christmas appointment ❤️
